Most homemade beauty treatments use things that can be easily found in your kitchen. As these products are natural and organic you can be certain that they are not going to harm your skin.

Get glowing skin: Glowing skin is not only for pregnant women and pre-teens. Get a subtle, healthy glow by using the five steps of skin care: cleanse, exfoliate, tone, moisture and protect.

  • Drinking a minimum of 8 to 10 glasses of water everyday helps eliminate toxins from the body that damage skin and hair.
  • Eating plenty of fruit and vegetables gives the body the necessary minerals and vitamins that help rejuvenate skin and hair. Carrots, oranges, apples and cucumbers are ideal for the hair, skin and nails.
  • An eating plan rich in Omega 3 fatty acids (fish) helps condition the body.
  • Regular exercise assists in keeping the body fit and the metabolism high that is great for the body. A regular 30-minute walk can function wonders for your health. Exercise enables you to feel young and look young.
  • Regularity is important. Exercising two times a week, or drinking 10 portions of water when you wish, is not going to help.
  • Got an oily skin? Wash the face with ice-cold water pre and post rubbing a slice of tomato in your face.
  • Get rid of the artificial bleaches. Naturally bleach your face by rubbing a slice of lemon or potato in your face every alternate day. Avoid lemon in case your skin type is dry.
  • For dry skin, make use of the cream of milk to rub in your face, hands, or legs. Cream provides a natural moisturizer.
  • Wash your face regularly with gram flour. Gram flour removes dirt and provides a natural scrub. For dry skin, use cream with white flour to rub of dirt. Finish with gram flour scrub.
